Welcome to the Blyth Community Church Website.

Blyth Community Church is a small independent church in the town of Blyth on the Northumberland coast (see our locator map) with people from a number of church backgrounds and un-churched backgrounds. We meet together to worship God, to grow together as Christians, and to tell others about the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Our meeting times are:

  • SUNDAY 11:00am - Church Service
  • WEDNESDAY 7:00pm - Drop-in Session (come and see what we're about)
  • THURSDAY 8:00pm - Bible Study

The first two meetings are held at Croft Hall, Oxford Street (behind the Old Fire Station; see link to map above), whilst Thursday's Bible Study is held at 302 Plessey Road, NE24 3NJ.

Inconsistent? Illogical?

Classic FM presenter John Suchet Tweeted the folowing on 22nd May 2018:

Beautiful Braunau am Inn on Austro-German border and birth house of local man they’d rather forget. No name just a block of granite from Mauthausen concentration camp for millions of dead to remind us: never again Fascism

The reference is, of course, to Adolph Hitler who caused the deaths of millions in the Second World War.

After the Irish referendum paving the way for abortion on demand in Ireland he said:

Good day to be married to an Irish Yes supporter. Bravo Ireland!
