David Dolan in Gateshead

David Dolan will be speaking in Gateshead at the Beit Yeshua Day Conference on Saturday 31st October. He is a well-respected author, journalist and commentator on the Middle East, and was at one time the CBS Radio News reporter in Jerusalem.

A popular internationally-known speaker, David Dolan comments with knowledge and insight on events in the Middle East from a Christian perspective. He is well worth hearing.

The Conference will be held at the Emmanuel College, Consett Road, Lobley Hill, Gateshead, NE11 0AN (map), beginning with registration at 9:15am. Please take a packed lunch, and drinks will be provided.


Many years ago a song called "Africa" by a group called Toto was doing the rounds. It contains the line "I bless the rains down in Africa", and this performance of the song by a Slovenian choir called Perpetuum Jazzile begins with a thunderstorm that just HAS to be seen. The video has attracted over 4 million views on YouTube and won the admiration of the song's surviving writer.

Genesis to Revelation - the date is set

The date has finally been set for the appearance of Rev Brian Allenby and Dr Paul Adams on both the Genesis (SKY TV 592) and Revelation TV (SKY TV 585) channels. This will be 22nd September between 21:00 and 22:30.

This should make for interesting viewing! Please put the date in your diary.

Freedom of Speech?

The Equality Bill is currently going through Parliament, and if passed into law as it is will have serious repercussions on the Christian's freedom of speech.

The Christian Institute explains the issue on its Website.

In a related example, a street preacher called Andy Robertson was recently made to take down his display board by police officers, who warned him that they would take action against him as a result of complaints by the local council and some individuals.
